Edson designs and builds end-of-line packaging systems, specializing in high-speed horizontal case packing, product handling, and top-load robotic solutions. Its customers include food, pharmaceutical, consumer goods, and tissue converting companies worldwide that rely on reliable, high-performance equipment for their packing lines. The firm is part of ProMach's End of Line division, aligning with a broader portfolio of automation solutions, and it has a long track record of durable systems—some machines from the 1970s are still in service today.

Headquartered in Hamilton, Ontario, Edson operates as a mid-sized manufacturer in the machinery sector. In April 2022, the company introduced a robotic top-load case packer, targeting small- to mid-sized manufacturers in the away-from-home towel and tissue market, reflecting ongoing product modernization.
