EduCare Foundation is a California-based nonprofit organization established in 1990 that delivers social-emotional learning, afterschool and expanded learning, summer programs, and specialized services to students in under-resourced communities. Through its programs, the foundation reaches more than 35,000 students across over 176 schools in Southern California, aiming to support student well-being and academic engagement. In addition to direct student programming, EduCare provides professional development, parent workshops, coaching, and family engagement initiatives to nearly 5,000 teachers, school staff, and parents each year. The organization operates from Van Nuys in the Los Angeles region and serves a broad network of educational partners, with activity centered on strengthening school communities and learning environments. A recent leadership change placed Jill Jacobson as CEO in January 2025, marking a new phase in the foundation’s ongoing service to schools and families.
