Educational Arts Team is a Jersey City–based organization operating in the education administration space, with a history dating back to 1974. The group provides arts-centered educational programs, including school-based residencies, workshops, public programming, professional development for teachers, and a summer camp known as Camp Liberty, aimed at connecting creativity with critical thinking to support personal growth and academic achievement. Its work targets young learners and schools, offering interactive experiences that emphasize storytelling, theater, and visual expression to foster literacy, self-esteem, empathy, and essential life skills. Founded by artists, educators, and youth development professionals, the organization positions itself as a community-based provider that uses the arts to enhance learning across Jersey City and Hudson County, and it recently announced the appointment of a new executive director in 2022.
