A family run business, founded in April of 2002 and based in Cambridge, our custom framing service was first enjoyed by the local community & surrounding villages thanks to a commitment to outstanding customer support, affordability & simplicity; three cornerstone principles which still guide our decisions today.

By the following year a revolutionary new website was launched; giving customers across the UK the means to discover, visualise and order custom built frames online. We called this website eFrame and its goal was to bring framing into the 21st century by removing the stress and high-cost of traditional frame shops.

Over the next few years, we outgrew our humble premises as word of our new website and quality frames spread. In August 2004 we made the upgrade from garden shed to farm-yard barn, set in beautiful countryside. Clunky desktop PC's, cold winters (even inside) and the sound of tractors going about their daily business set the scene for early mornings and late nights as our team expanded.

Even in the beginning, our devotion to happiness and amazing customer service was clear. We first won the award for "Best Online Framer" in 2008 and continue to set the same high standards today with huge investments in training and technology designed to make your experience with us a special one.

We now offer thousands of different frame styles to over 400,000 delighted retail and trade customers on mobile, tablet and desktop. We're proud to say that all of our customised frames are still handmade here in the UK. Our 32,000 ft2 facility has up to 60 skilled framers, talented designers and friendly customer service teams ready to help you frame the things personal to you or important to your company.

Although we've ditched the barn for the most advanced framing facility in the country, our passion for crafting beautiful frames for everyone still drives us - from the shed, to the barn and to this very day.
