Egyptian International Motors EIM Group is based in Kirdāsah, in the Giza region of Egypt, and traces its origins to 1979 when it was established as part of the ALKAN holding. It has grown into a regional commercial trading group with a diversified footprint across more than nine business sectors and more than 28 brands. The group relies on a substantial workforce to support its operations, including multinational enterprise representation, after-sales activities, and free zone storage and clearance facilities. In May 2025, EIM announced the launch of Renault Duster 2025 in the Egyptian market.

Key group companies include EIM Co. (Egyptian International Motors), a major operations and trading arm whose Renault partnership has been central since 1979, alongside EIT (Egyptian International Trading), the sole distributor of KIA motors in Egypt since 2006. Additional entities include EII (Egyptian International Investments) in the Amreya Free Zone near Alexandria, which provides storage and clearance facilities to support bulk imports, and AIM (ALKAN International Motors) in Jordan representing Renault, as well as ALKAN Medical and ALKAN Travel.
