EITB is a public audiovisual group serving the Basque Country, focused on information and entertainment and on promoting Basque culture and language. Based in Bilbao, in the Basque Country of Spain, it operates as a public service with a mandate to respond to society's needs through a diverse, high-quality audiovisual offering. Its network includes four television channels—ETB1, ETB2, ETB1 ON, ETB2 ON—and six radio stations, serving audiences across the region. To adapt to changing viewing and listening habits, the group has launched several free streaming platforms since 2023, such as PRIMERAN, MAKUSI, GUAU (Gure Audioa), and ETB ON. It also operates ORAIN, a digital news service, and kirolakeitb.eus, alongside eitb.eus and apps for mobile devices and Smart TVs. EITB is a member of FORTA and participates in CIRCOM Regional, and it makes its corporate information available publicly via eitbtaldea.eus for transparency.
