The El Dorado Hills Community Services District (CSD) is a government administration district located in El Dorado Hills, California, with a staff of 51-200 employees. It owns and manages over 170 acres of land, including 134 acres of parks (15 undeveloped) and 82 acres of open space; Promontory Community Park opened in March 2007 and includes extensive sports facilities. It manages approximately 24 acres of street landscape and 44,000 square feet of community recreation facilities, and anticipates management of over 2000 acres of private open space. In addition, the CSD administers franchise contracts for cable television and solid waste collection and is one of eight public agencies in California to manage private CC&Rs (covenants, conditions & restrictions) on residential and commercial properties.
