The El Dorado School District is a public K-12 system with eight campuses in El Dorado, Arkansas. Its elementary division comprises four K-4 academies—Hugh Goodwin Academy for the Arts, Northwest Environmental Studies Academy, Retta Brown Academy for Communication & Technology, and Yocum Academy for Math & Science—each blending student-interest themes with a rigorous curriculum and up-to-date technology. Washington Middle School serves grades 5-6, Barton Junior High covers grades 7-8, and El Dorado High School serves grades 9-12 with a wide Advanced Placement program and extensive extracurricular offerings.
