At El Kapitan Vans, we create vehicles that enable people to experience a life of freedom while connecting with the environment. Our vehicles are designed to bring your gear while traveling in comfort. We intend for our customers to go off-grid camping, and spend time at the local beach. We provide freedom to spontaneous adventure seekers. El Kapitan Vans was founded in 1984 and experienced van life before there was van life. Our adventure has guided us as we’ve evolved multiple time along our history, from family wagons to Luxury Executive conversions we have flourished in all categories we’ve committed to. Along the way we have attracted some of the industry’s most innovative, and experienced team members to our headquarters in Huntington Beach. Our vans are a result of superior workmanship built by some of the same hands that have been with the company since established. Our vans are authentic with each having there individual interior design and materials. El Kapitan has a warehouse that’s full of premium high-end leathers, fabrics and veneers that surpasses any other van builders in the world. The products we use are high grade and tend to be more durable and reliable. We plane for Dirt, Rain, Snow, and Sandy Beaches, so our vans are ready to handle the conditions. We work alongside our vendors pushing for higher quality components, technology integrations, and better pricing to provide our customers with the most exceptional and dependable options. Our motivation comes from the ability to watch our ideas turn into something remarkable.
