ElderHealth & Living’s unique campus design, made up of nine homes that accommodate 10-11 residents each, allows our staff to develop a relationship with each resident, learn their daily routines, and understand their needs through the progression of memory loss. By seeing each person as an individual, we use their strengths and interests to provide the best care possible. Our person centered team approach to care puts the resident in the center and includes families and all staff: from the hands on direct caregivers to the administrator. Liz von Wellsheim, GNP provides medical services, and we have a nurse on call 24 hours a day. Our Memory Loss Solutions community outreach includes geriatric consultations, support groups, Living with Memory Loss Educational Series and other educational seminars, Active Lives, Active Minds cognitive wellness program, and respite care.
