A greenfield project coming up in future steel manufacturing hub of Bokaro, Jharkhand. This company has an initial investment of Rs. 80000 million , for the Integrated Steel Facility at Bokaro. Production is to start by April 2011. Ultimately the company will be making long products like billets, rails etc. Capacity would be 2.2 MTPA, in the first phase. Second phase would lead it to 5 MTPA with a variety of long & flat products in the basket. Raw Material Handling Plant, Oxygen Plant, Blast Furnaces, Steel Converters & Melting Shops along with Coke Oven, Rolling Mills are the main components of this "Steel Mill". Company has its own captive coal & iron ore mines. Power is to drawn from Damodar Valley Corporation & the Captive Power Plant. The company also is doing a lot of CSR activities in the area even before it has started the production. Average earning in the area has already increased manifolds. Awareness towards education & sanitation is on the agenda for CSR. Plantation is being done to creater a greener atmosphere. One of the Directors of this Company is also Mr.J J Irani
