ESCRIBANO MECHANICAL & ENGINEERING is a private family-owned company based in Alcala de Henares, in the Community of Madrid, Spain, that specializes in mechanical systems and components for aerospace and defense markets. It operates a headquarters and production plant equipped for high-precision design, manufacturing, assembly, and testing of mechanical parts. Beyond components, the firm develops its own engineering solutions in electro-optics, stabilization, control devices, and real-time software to deliver bespoke systems and applications that meet customer requirements. Its product portfolio includes night vision monocular devices, thermal cameras (cooled and uncooled), and remote weapon stations for naval and land applications. Within the defense and space manufacturing sector, the company positions itself as a mid-sized, privately held provider that combines mechanical components with its engineering capabilities in electro-optics, stabilization, and control devices. A notable recent development is the launch of the ODIN 6x6 counter-unmanned aerial system at Eurosatory in June 2026, reflecting its expansion into mobile layered defense capabilities.
