Emerging Public Leaders is an international trade and development organization focused on accelerating Africa’s economic and governance progress by cultivating a new generation of civil service leaders. Its work aims to drive meritocracy, good governance, and efficient delivery of public services across African countries, positioning the group within the public administration and development sector as a facilitator of leadership development and public sector reform. Based in Washington, DC, the organization operates with a regional focus on Africa and engages with peers and partners to expand public service opportunities for young people, including those from internally displaced communities. Since its inception, it has built a pan-African network and has launched programs such as a Public Service Fellowship in Sierra Leone, reflecting a pattern of programmatic growth across the continent. Recent activities include hosting hybrid events and participating in global forums to broaden its collaborative efforts and extend its impact on public sector leadership development.
