The Emmett Till Interpretive Center has done more for the memory of Emmett Till than any other organization in the world. Founded in 2006 by Jerome G. Little the first black president of the Tallahatchie County Board of Supervisors and multiracial commission of local citizens. The Center has raised millions of dollars to save historic sites and interpret the tragedy of Emmett Till for the purpose of racial healing.
