Employee Connections is a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit employment education/training agency providing employment education training programs and services that prepare and connect low income and disadvantage youth and adults with job opportunities Our Mission: To prepare low income and at risk individuals with opportunities to connect with compassionate employers. Employee Connections™ was established in April of 2008 as a partnership initiative with the Black Chamber of Commerce of Lake County, Inc., Community Action Partnership of Lake County and Meeting Essentials By D’esign, Inc. all of Lake County, Illinois. Employee Connections is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization with the community at the center of its heart. Our goal is to successfully bring about sustainable change in the lives of Lake County youth, families, and individuals by empowering them to achieve social and economic success through the workforce skills training, life coaching, and job placement services we provide. We help and motivate them to identify and utilize their skills, experience, and training to achieve their goals and objectives. As a community outreach initiative, we work to build community resources, bring stimulus to the economy through joint venture partnership and programs of interests. We are a connector of partnerships, through Lake County, Illinois’s municipalities, educational institutions, humans service agencies, working together to decrease unemployment and stimulate economic growth and development.
