Empower Tennessee, Middle Tennessee’s Center for Independent Living, is a non-profit organization that exists to promote opportunities for people with disabilities to strive for greater independence. Its wide-array of services and programs are governed and implemented by, and for, people with disabilities, who seek to cultivate a barrier-free community in which they are valued equally and can participate fully. Since 1992, Empower Tennessee has been a leading voice in the advancement of independence within the disability community and throughout Middle Tennessee.
