Empower Through Health (ETH) is a rural Uganda–based health, research, and education organization working to build healthier systems - so that where someone is born doesn’t determine whether they can access care, dignity, and opportunity.

In Buyende District, we deliver district-level psychiatric and neurological services and provide primary and general medical services in the communities we directly serve. Alongside care delivery, we conduct implementation research to design and test scalable, locally grounded interventions that can strengthen health outcomes across low-resource settings.

ETH also invests in long-term capacity-building through education: we are building a primary school and run the Global Health Experiential Fellowship, which trains students and early-career professionals through community partnership, rigorous mentorship, and hands-on learning.
