Enat Bank was legally established on July 9, 2011 with 7000 plus shareholders after fulfilling the requirements of National Bank of Ethiopia. The bank officially opens its door for service on March 5, 2013. The establishment of Enat marks a unique point in Ethiopian and African banking history Women own 64 percent of the bank, and compose many major leadership positions from the Board of Directors to the senior bank management. Headquartered in Addis Ababa, the Bank is among the late entrant in the banking industry in Ethiopia. Currently, the bank operate its banking service through the network of more than 57 branches throughout the country, 20+ ATM and All inclusive Digital Banking service (via Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Mobile Money).
