Encapsula NanoSciences is a nanotechnology research and development company that provides scientific services to over a thousand universities, research institutes, government laboratories and biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies in five continents for almost a decade.

Encapsula is the formulator and manufacturer of Clodronate liposomes (Clodrosome), control liposomes for Clodrosome (Encapsome), Doxorubicin liposomes (Doxosome), surface active liposomes for antibody and peptide conjugation (Immunosome), DNA and RNA liposomes (Genesome), fluorescent liposomes (Fluoroliposome), Freeze dried liposome kits for ATP loading (ATPsome) and various formulations of liposomes used as artificial cell models (Cellsome).

Encapsula also provides various formulations of liposome based nutritional supplements of poorly fat soluble molecules such as Curcumin. Liposomal formulation of these molecules provides a significantly superior bioavailability compare to non liposomal formulation. Curcusome® is a proprietary formulation of liposomal Curcumin with is complexed with Piperine and Quercetin for maximal bioavailability and oral absorption.  Curcusome® is packaged is power released cap as a freeze dried formulation which forms highly bioavailable liposomes when released into bottled water. 

Encapsula NanoSciences provides development solutions, contract research services and patent due diligence services.

Encapsula has extensive collaboration with academic research laboratories and is currently working with synthetic chemists and cancer biologists at a major university in the development of new anti-tumor compounds which require a liposome delivery system in order to be dosed in vivo. 

Encapsula is also working with the food technology industry in exploring the development of lipid-based antimicrobials as a solution to a variety of food safety issues in that sector.
