Innovative History

Encon Safety Products, Inc., located in Houston, Texas, started manufacturing operations in 1964. Located in the heart of the U.S. Gulf Coast petrochemical industry, Encon® developed its emergency and safety products manufacturing business with a focus on solving problems for hazardous-area applications. Since our inception, Encon® has designed and manufactured market-leading personal protective equipment and hazardous-area storage cases for the protection and security of people, plant and equipment. Coined from the words Environmental Controls, Encon Safety Products today operates in three manufacturing locations to serve our customer base worldwide.

Design Excellence

Encon conducts intensive research and development to enhance and expand our extensive line of safety products. Encon's award-winning Swing-Away Eyewash and redesigned SAF-T-FLO® system are recent examples of product innovations that demonstrate our commitment to excellence in innovation and design. By following strict, exacting standards, our products meet all government and industry regulations. Our markets include the chemical process industry, equipment manufacturing, pulp and paper mills, construction, laboratories, pharmaceuticals processing, electronics, public utilities and primary metals production.
