English for Internationals is a small organization based in Roswell, Georgia, operating in the education administration programs sector. It was founded in 1991 by Norma Hills, who started the venture in her basement. Over its 28-year history, more than 18,000 international adults enrolled in its study programs. Facing the COVID-19 pandemic, EFI transitioned from in-person instruction to a fully online format in March 2020, and both teachers and students adapted to online learning. Despite this shift, enrollment declined and the organization closed its doors by the end of 2021. The organization operated with a small staff.
