Enough Is Enough (EIE) is a non-partisan nonprofit organization focused on public safety in the online space, based in Reston, Virginia. It emerged in 1994 and has since positioned itself as a national leader in efforts to make the Internet safer for children and families. The organization pursues a three-pronged approach that includes public education about online threats, urging technology companies to adopt family-friendly and safer-by-design policies, and advocating for stronger enforcement of laws to prevent online crimes against children. Its mission centers on reducing online dangers such as pornography and sexual predation, while promoting shared responsibility among the public, technology sector, and the legal system. A core program is Internet Safety 101, a multi-media curriculum designed to empower parents, educators, and other caring adults with resources to protect children from risks like pornography, sexting, cyberbullying, and online predators.
