Entegra Power Group is a United States-based Independent Power Company headquartered in Tampa, Florida, founded in 2005. It originally owned and operated a portfolio of eight natural gas-fired power plants capable of supplying more than 4,000 MW, including the Union Power Station in Arkansas and the Gila Power Station in Arizona, and it also controlled the Trans-Union Pipeline spanning Arkansas and Louisiana. Today, the company owns and operates a gas-fired, combined-cycle unit at the Gila Power Station, with its output committed under a power sales agreement to Arizona Public Service Company. Its business approach centers on optimizing operations and energy sales, pursuing long-term power sales agreements, and using asset sales to realize value. In 2015, Entegra completed a sale of a unit at the Gila River facility to Tucson Electric Power, reflecting its history of asset disposals.
