Envision Education operates five small urban public schools in the San Francisco Bay Area—two middle schools and three high schools—where a rigorous curriculum, including A-G coursework and a Portfolio Defense framework, is designed to prepare students for college and beyond. Project-based learning is used to help students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills that support success in college, careers, and life. Equity is central to its mission, with a focus on improving outcomes for students who will be the first in their families to pursue higher education. Founded in 2002 as a nonprofit charter school management organization, Envision Education is headquartered in Oakland, California. In 2010, it expanded its reach by creating Envision Learning Partners, a consultancy that works with teachers and school leaders nationwide to apply the Envision Schools model and deepen student engagement. Across its activities, the group operates within the education sector, focusing on access to college pathways and the development of skills essential for long-term success.
