Envision Utah is a Salt Lake City–based non-profit think tank formed in 1997 as a public-private partnership to guide Utah’s growth through a widely supported Quality Growth Strategy. It blends scenario analysis, research, and broad public involvement to inform planning decisions that aim to protect the environment, sustain economic vitality, and maintain residents’ quality of life. The work centers on preserving critical lands, conserving water and air quality, improving regional transportation, and providing housing options for all residents. The organization serves government agencies, residents, and related organizations across Utah as part of its architecture and planning focus. In 2022, Envision Utah partnered with the Utah Seismic Safety Commission to review a situation and offer recommendations.
