The Episcopal Diocese of West Texas is a regional diocese of the Episcopal Church, comprising 87 congregations across 60 counties in South Central Texas. Based in San Antonio, Texas, its network includes Episcopal churches and schools in the region. The diocese identifies itself as the West Texas branch of the Jesus Movement. It coordinates worship, ministry, and education across its congregations, serving communities throughout the 60-county area. In 2023 the diocese elected Rev. Dr. David G. Read as its bishop. In January 2026 it launched Help and Hope for Hill Country to support flood relief in collaboration with St. Peter's Episcopal Church.
