The Erie SeaWolves are an award-winning Double-A Minor League Baseball affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. The SeaWolves play 69 home games per season at UPMC Park located in downtown Erie, Pennsylvania. Over 200 players have advanced from Erie to Major League Baseball including Justin Verlander (2011 A.L. MVP and Cy Young Award winner), Tarik Skubal (2024 A.L. Cy Young Award winner), and All-Stars like Riley Greene, Nick Castellanos, and Curtis Granderson. The SeaWolves provide affordable family entertainment from April through mid-September. Known to some as the Erie Moon Mammoths thanks to HBO's Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.
