The Electronic Security Association (ESA), based in Dallas, Texas, is the largest professional trade association in the United States for the electronic security and life safety industry. Its member companies install, integrate, and monitor intrusion and fire detection, video surveillance, and electronic access control systems for commercial, residential, industrial, and governmental clients. ESA provides technical and management training, government advocacy, and practical tools and services that members use to grow their businesses. 

Collectively, ESA member companies employ more than 500,000 industry professionals and serve more than 34 million residential and commercial clients; the association works to raise awareness of the value of security products and supports new technologies through targeted education and policy initiatives. In June 2026, ESA Web announced a partnership with the New Jersey Electronic Security Association to expand training programs and apprenticeship initiatives.
