Major responsibilities of the Supervisor of Elections Office: -Conduct elections for the citizens of Escambia County, Florida, including absentee and early voting -Handle voter registration, outreach and education -Maintain the voter registration database -Serve as the qualifying office for candidates seeking municipal and county elected office -Responsible for implementing state and federal election laws -Recruit and train poll workers -Identify and equip polling locations -Maintain elections equipment and supplies The Supervisor of Elections is a constitutional officer elected to serve a four year term. Currently supported with 14 full-time staff members. The office is funded by the taxpayers of Escambia County, Florida.
