Take a trip around the world—and through time—when you walk through the doors of our iconic building in the heart of the IU Bloomington campus. Come discover treasures from antiquity and sub-Saharan Africa; paintings by Monet, Picasso, and Pollock; works from contemporary artists; and so much more. As a modern teaching museum, we’re using art to change the way you’ll understand the human experience.

The Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Museum of Art encourages active learning through direct engagement with art from our wide-ranging collection, which spans nearly every art-producing culture throughout history. You can experience our collection in the galleries, at programming and events, and with a special viewing in one of our art study rooms.

With four specialized centers and technology-equipped learning spaces throughout the museum, we are dedicated to engaging students, faculty, artists, scholars, alumni, and the wider public through the cultivation of new ideas and scholarship.
