Our Mission The mission of the Espionage Research Institute International is to educate and advance best practices in the counterespionage/counterintelligence, and TSCM community through excellence, applied learning, and research that examines issues of strategic importance to the sector. Our Aim The aim of ERII is to ensure the skill sets and the knowledge of TSCM, Counterintelligence and Counterespionage professionals evolves as changes in spying tactics, eavesdropping devices and detection methods occur. The organization’s success is a collaborative effort of members from around the globe with expertise in various areas within the umbrella of counterintelligence and TSCM. Our Members The membership of ERII consists of counterespionage/counterintelligence professionals, Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) practitioners, business and corporate executives who have security responsibilities, as well as newcomers to the profession. “Technical Surveillance Counter Measures” is the industry term for security work that includes debugging sweeps, wiretap detection, and related countersurveillance activities.
