Essex Westford School District is a public education system providing preschool through 12th-grade instruction to about 4,000 students across three Vermont communities: Essex Town, Essex Junction, and Westford. EWSD has pursued environmental initiatives, including a 2019 partnership with Green Lantern Solar to offset electricity usage with five solar arrays spanning roughly 20 acres.
