The European Society of Radiology (ESR) is a mid-sized, apolitical non-profit organization based in Vienna, Austria, and is the largest radiology society in the world. In 2026 the ESR announced the launch of a spin-off journal, European Radiology Abdomen, reflecting the society's ongoing expansion of scholarly outlets.
