In 1948, Leonard L. Evans, Jr. established Evans Tool & Die, Inc. in Decatur, Georgia. Leonard and his wife, Mary Alice, were both tool & die makers who began their first shop in their daughter’s playhouse. As the business grew, with much hard work and dedication, it expanded to later incorporate Evans Metal Stamping, Inc. Today, the company is still a leading tool & die and metal stamping operation.
