Eveready has a proud history as an iconic brand in South Africa. Established in 1937, we remain the only manufacturer of dry cell batteries, energy saving light bulbs and micro-wind turbines in South Africa.

Like every battery has a positive and negative side. Similarly Our country has great positives as well as negatives. We are wanting to create a community of like minded people who will use this platform to share and inspire each other with their positive experiences of South Africa.

As an independent South African company since 2003, Eveready has embraced profitable growth as a core objective. To date, this has led us to expanding the Eveready brand to a full range of lighting products, our export brand Ecocell, and the acquisition of House of York and Kestrel Renewable Energy.
 
Our diverse range of products and technologies are developed and manufactured in our world-class facility in Port Elizabeth.
