Evergreen quarries a significant portion of its annual roofing slate requirements from its own Calder, Fair Haven, and Big Bear quarries. Additional slate is purchased from independent operators in Vermont's slate valley, with much of this on an exclusive basis. Evergreen also imports S1-tested slate from select and long standing high quality foreign sources in Canada and the UK. Floor tile, structural slate, and slate accessories are also part of our line.
