Everybody Dance Now! is a nonprofit organization based in New York City that began in 2005 when three teenage volunteers started teaching hip-hop in local elementary schools in Santa Barbara. The early work was sparked by a 2003 performance in which founder Jackie Rotman presented hip-hop to eighty teens with disabilities and adapted the show when music encountered a technical glitch, inviting audience members onstage to express themselves through dance. Since then, the organization has expanded to provide resources, mentorship, and training to help young people create and sustain their own EDN! chapters.

Today, EDN! operates with a national leadership team and maintains five active chapters in Kansas City, Pomona, Santa Barbara, Chicago, and New York City. The program centers on making dance accessible to youth who would not otherwise have the opportunity, offering 60 classes weekly. Over its history, the organization has served more than 13,000 youth.
