Our Power Lunch literacy and mentoring program pairs volunteers with students who struggling to read, for weekly one -on-one read aloud sessions that take place at lunchtime.  The program lasts for the entire school year and has proven benefits in improving the academic performance and enhancing the self-esteem of program participants.
