ExpandED Schools is a New York City–based nonprofit focused on narrowing the learning gap by expanding access to enriched educational experiences. It promotes school-community partnerships that add more hours to the school day, bring more role models into classrooms, and integrate arts, sports, literacy, STEM, and character-building activities into learning. Since its founding in 1998, ExpandED Schools has created opportunities for more than a million children.

In 2022, the organization partnered with New York City Public Schools to launch the first citywide high-impact tutoring program, with the initiative taking effect July 1, 2022. It has also led national efforts such as the National SEL Demonstration Initiative, launched in 2016 with support from the New York Life Foundation, to promote social-emotional learning with an embedded equity lens.
