Expressions of Joy is a Performing Arts Ministry and School of Ballet nurturing artists to their highest potential for ministry and outreach through original and innovative Christ-centered performances. Our vision is to serve as the artistic  bridge between the sacred and the secular through the art of dance.

EOJ Ballet helps students from toddlers to seniors develop their artistic gifts and use them for the glory of God. The core academy curriculum for students age 9+ focuses on classical ballet. EOJ teaches the Russian syllabus created by Agrippina Vaganova.  Modern dance (Graham, Horton, Laban) will be added to the core curriculum for the 2013/14 academic year.  All other techniques including Post-modern, Contemporary, Jazz and HipHop are offered as enrichment. For younger students (3 – 8) creative movement and pre-ballet are offered along with enrichment programs including tap, jazz and other dance and theatrical forms.  Our curriculum decisions are based primarily on university requirements as our goal is to train gifted students for professional careers in dance and ministry. Even students who do not continue in dance will have a sophisticated appreciation of the art preparing them to support the arts in their communities.

EOJ Productions presents innovative programming for the South Florida stage collaborating with artists and companies locally, nationally and internationally.  The flagship project was Christmas Near The Beach which draws on local musicians, dancers and other performers for a multi-cultural celebration of Christmas in the public square.  Attendance and community involvement have increased each year with an estimated 5,000 attending for Christmas 2013.  This ministry allows Expressions of Joy to support all of the performing and theater arts facilitating their use for worship and outreach both in the church and in the community.
