Our Mission:
Established in 2014, Expressive Path’s mission is to enrich, educate, and inspire disadvantaged adolescents by providing resources for them in the areas of theater, dance, music, humanities, and the visual arts. Based in Montgomery County, PA, we create opportunities for our students to showcase their talents in the surrounding communities through workshops, exhibitions, performances, and community service. Expressive Path serves over 500 students a year.
 
Get Involved:
Studies show that involvement in the arts is associated with gains in math, reading, cognitive ability, critical thinking, and verbal skills; as well as improved motivation, concentration, confidence, and teamwork.  If you're passionate about how the arts can impact the lives of disadvantaged teens - we need you! Our programs include: 

Art Education - We provide access to tours, lectures, and hands-on learning experiences.  
 
Mentorship - Our Mentors conduct art and music workshops in schools, nonprofits, and local youth centers.  
 
Self-Expression - Our students showcase their talents in the community through performance and exhibition. 
 
Virtual Education - We utilize a virtual education platform to ensure we can reach as many adolescents as possible. Subjects currently include Anime Drawing, Bass Guitar, Drama, Drawing, Drums, Guitar, Dance, Music Appreciation, Music Production, Painting, Piano, Photography, Poetry, Playwriting, and Voice.
 
Summer Series - A 4-week summer arts program provides Drama, Art, Music, and Dance workshops; breakfast and lunch; and a safe place to meet like-minded peers.
 
Community Service - We partner with Montgomery County's Juvenile Probation Office to provide a place for teens to earn community service hours.  We also offer community service hours for scholars looking to learn skills that can be used in the workplace and inspire
