Eye Columbus has offices in Gahanna and Downtown Columbus in historical German Village. Both offices have a long history and prestigious reputation as Columbus optometrists. Our Mission at Eye Columbus is to "Give Better" - promoting only the best services to keep your eyes healthy for years to come. Founded in 1967, Gahanna Vision Center has been a reliable source for the highest level of eye care and superior eye wear for over 40 years. Dr. Douglas Dachenbach established and built Gahanna Vision Center with only the best interests of the patients and the Gahanna community in mind. A philosophy that continues today. In 2010 Dr. Craig Miller took over as President and owner of Gahanna Vision Center. Continuing the positive patient-centered tradition in Gahanna, Dr. Miller was recognized as "Best Optometrist in Columbus 2011, 2012, 2013". In the fall of 2012 Dr. Miller merged Gahanna Vision Center with the practice of Dr. David Waite in downtown Columbus Ohio. These two locations, collectively coined Eye Columbus, offer patients access to the level of care Dr. Miller feels each patient deserves. Eye Columbus | Gahanna Vision Center moved into it's new location at Clark Hall Commons in May of 2013. Designed by Dr. Miller and Design Collective of Columbus Ohio, this state-of-the-art facility was recognized nationally as one of Review of Optometry's "Top Office Designs" of 2013.
