Fair Trade Judaica (FTJ) is building a Fair Trade movement in the Jewish community, providing inspiration and opportunities for American Jews to express our values and cultural identity throgh the consumer choices we make on a daily basis. Fair Trade Judaica: * Develops and distributes educational materials and programs, including our "Bean of Affliction" program that links the issue of child labor in the cocoa industry with our Passover theme of liberation. * Helps Fair Trade artisans design new Judaica products, like the first Fair Trade tallit * Promotes these products to consumers at community events. amd work with synagogue and Judaica stores to make the products more available.
