The Fairmont State Foundation staff and Board of Directors are dedicated and dynamic individuals who raise funds and advocate on behalf of Fairmont State University. Our commitment is to make the dream of higher education a reality.  We furnish scholarships, promote the mission of the University, and raise funds to support the programs that help create promising futures for students. 

Our goals are to:
•Reach out to alumni, friends and businesses in the community to build commitment and funding for Fairmont State University,
•Offer more life-changing scholarships,
•Significantly grow the Fairmont State endowment,
•Increase private support for the University programs, scholarships and facilities.

The Fairmont State Foundation, Inc. is an independent not-for-profit corporation. We are governed by a Board of Directors elected by its members, who serve as advocates for the University and are committed to the highest levels of accountability and transparency.
