Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt is a banking institution that operates in line with Islamic Sharia, delivering a range of services including traditional banking, financial and commercial activities, and investment operations. It also participates in industrial, economic development, and urbanization projects within Egypt and abroad. As the first Egyptian Islamic and commercial bank, it was incorporated under law No. 48 of 1977 and began formal operations on July 5, 1979 after an extended preparatory period to establish an Islamic model for banking. The bank's establishment aimed to serve as a model for Islamic banking worldwide.

Headquartered in Giza, the bank operates within the Egyptian banking sector and targets customers seeking Sharia-compliant financial solutions and involvement in development initiatives. In March 2025 it announced a new branch in Benha, reflecting ongoing expansion through a cooperation with Al Salem Holding to open the branch inside Nile View Mall.
