The Family Involvement Center is a not-for-profit, family-run organization focused on supporting parents and caregivers who raise children with emotional, physical, and behavioral health needs. Through parent-to-parent support, education, training, and additional services, the center helps families develop natural support networks and reduce reliance on formal care systems, while encouraging active participation in planning and delivering care for their children. Located in Phoenix, Arizona, the organization aims to transform child-serving systems to be inclusive of families and to promote child well-being, school success, family stability, avoidance of delinquency, and productive adulthood. Founded in 2001 by Jane Kallal, its leadership and staff largely come from personal experience with child-related mental health challenges, emphasizing resiliency, durable partnerships with professionals, and a solution-focused approach.
