Farm Share is a Florida-based nonprofit established in 1991 to distribute fresh food free of charge to families across the state. It operates in the food and beverage sector and has grown into an organization that has distributed 707,252,779 pounds of food with an estimated value of more than $1.3 billion. The program focuses on providing no-cost, nutritious food to Florida families, addressing food insecurity by making fruits, vegetables, and other items available at no charge. During the COVID-19 period, Farm Share has supported relief efforts in Florida by distributing nearly 108 million pounds of food since March 2020, the effort equating to 89,813,877 meals and including more than 36,653,000 pounds of fruits and vegetables. In 2025, reports described Farm Share as America's No. 1 Food Bank and noted it as Florida's largest independent food bank and the third largest in the United States.
