Farming The Future provides fully integrated STEM through Aquaponics programs for K-12 schools, juvenile detention facilities, and higher education institutions. Specializing in curriculum development for STEM, agricultural and entreprenurial education aligning with NGSS. Farming The Future is a women owned and operated organization that's been dedicated since 2015 to solving food insecurity, E-STEAM, sustainability and entrepreneurial education. Our programs utilize 21st century agricultural practices to integrate  Project-Based Learning and Hands-On activities that increase student engagement and comprehension of core science concepts preparing them for college, careers, and the journey that lies in front of them. Implementation of these programs help schools and facilities equip their students with enriching and applicable education while synchronously providing fresh, nutrient dense foods to the cafeterias. Students engage in learning core concepts in the nature of science, earth and space sciences, as well as physical and life sciences by interacting with the aquaponic greenhouse and garden. Students conduct hands-on lessons that's byproduct is organically grown fruits and vegetables. FTF aims to increase access to nutritionally dense foods while increasing opportunities of quality STEM, agricultural, and career education that will serve students throughout their educational and professional lives.
