Farmshare Austin is a small nonprofit farming organization based in Cedar Creek, Texas, operating a 10-acre certified organic farm that supplies produce to its food access programs and to local vendors. Its mission is to build a healthy, just and equitable local food system by expanding community access to food and by supporting new farmers. The organization furthers this goal through an educational program called Farmer Starter, which teaches sustainable growing methods alongside practical farming business skills, with crops produced in the program routed to food access initiatives and wholesale partners.
