Farrey's Lighting & Bath is a mid-sized, family-owned retailer based in Miami, Florida, specializing in lighting and bathroom fixtures. The business traces its origins to 1924, when John and Emily Farrey opened a general store in Miami Beach offering hardware, linens, lights and other home goods. During the housing boom of the 1950s, the company shifted its focus toward lighting and bath products, a path that has continued under family leadership into the fourth generation. The firm has weathered significant challenges, including a riot in 1980 that disrupted operations, yet it rebuilt at a new location and kept its workforce. In the late 1990s, Paige Farrey and Kevin Farrey joined the leadership team, contributing to the business's adaptation to changing market conditions. In 2024, Farrey's marked its centennial with a celebration at its North Miami showroom, highlighting its long-standing presence in the regional retail landscape.
